Savage Garden became one of Australia's biggest pop exports after Kylie. Darren Hayes fronted the band that spawned hits with 'I Knew I Loved You' and 'To The Moon And Back', he then decided to go solo and hasn't stop attacking the charts with his falsetto voice.


As part of Savage Garden, Darren sold in excess of 20 million albums worldwide, and gave us such hits as the celebratory love ballad 'Truly Madly Deeply' and modern classic 'I Knew I Loved You'.

Hayes headed on his solo journey following Savage Garden's split in 2000, which he calls "a natural progression". Since then he's never looked back. He's debut solo offering 'Spin', became a No. 2 album that spawned four Top 40 singles, including the massive smash 'Insatiable', which blended his large vocal range with a catchy pop ballad.

In September this year he's releasing his much-anticipated new studio album 'The Tension And The Spark' and we're sure he'll be giving us all a sneak preview of his new tracks and the new single 'Popular' at Party in the Park on 11th July.
